Complimentary In-Store Tastings
Join us every week for free in-store tastings of a variety of wine, beer and spirits from all around the world. Tasting generally take place between 4 PM and 7 PM on Fridays and Saturdays at both our Cambie St. and Maple Ridge stores. Check calendar for exact times and dates and join us for a free tasting!
La Table Commune
In France, La Table Commune (the communal table) invites strangers to eat and drink together. We believe this tradition is the best way to experience new flavours. We are excited to announce a new series of tastings, workshops and seminars around our “table commune” in the Cambie Street store. These events will provide us with the opportunity to share our experiences, knowledge and passion for fine wines and ales. Plus, it’s a great time and a chance to be introduced to new bottles and new friends. Join us at one of the events below to taste some amazing wines and ales in a unpretentious atmosphere around the “table commune” (and learn a little along the way).
Host a Custom Tasting with Friends
Do you have a thirst to learn about wine in a casual, unpretentious atmosphere? If you can get 10 to 12 friends together we will hold a private workshop and tasting just for you at La Table Commune in the Cambie Street store. Firefly Tasting Machine
Both Firefly locations have an Italian-made Enomatic machine, designed to hold several bottles of wine at once and keep them fresh for weeks, although such time is rarely necessary! The stores keep a rotating selection of wines in it for customers to sample upon request. So come by either Firefly location soon to try before you buy!
